HOW DO YOU DELIVER YOUR COURSES?
That’s a question we get asked a lot. We believe that your time is valuble. We also understand that people learn in several different ways. RT Medical Training has set up our courses to cover those different ways as well as hit the different learning styles. Our students first receive online access to our Learning Management System (LMS). On this LMS they go through a varity of different tasks. From slides, to videos, to quizzes, to reading resource material. Once they have completed the online section of the course, the student is required to attend a “hands-on” session. In this section our training team will review the material that was learned online and then give the opportunity to perform the skills. Our instructors are current or retired EMS professionals and we believe are best suited to give the “real world” outlook on the skills. Once both of those sections are successfully completed the student will earn a certification in that course.

FIRST AID
70% of people feel helpless during a medical emergency due to lack of first aid knowledge. The Occupational Safety and Health Administration, OSHA, defines first aid as “emergency care provided for injury or sudden illness before professional emergency medical treatment becomes available.”
Our training satisfies OSHA, workplace or other regulatory requirements. Our training will give you a self paced LMS acess and hands-on skill practice, so you will be prepared to provide care when it’s needed most.
CardioPulmonary Resuscitation
Automated External Defibrillators
Otherwise know as AED’s.
AEDs today recognize the difference between a heart attack and sudden cardiac arrest. If the patient is not suffering from a shockable arrhythmia, the device will not provide a shock. This allows bystanders to not have to worry about doing something wrong during a save attempt.
According to recent research from the National Institute of Health, a good mix of cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and early defibrillation can save lives and boost survival rates to 70%.
